Headshot shoots are usually something that people dread. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard my clients say “I need a new headshot!” and usually admit that theirs is a decade old. Updated photos are so important for many professional fields but if you own a small business and you aren’t posting photos of yourself, you’ll never hear the end of it from me. Your clients and customers trust you more when they can see your face. You are more real to them, more approachable, it makes the whole experience of working with you so much easier.
When Lauren with Aprés Skin & Wellness reached out to book her team’s headshots, she had a very specific vibe in mind. We had so much fun planning and executing the day to create the perfect energy in her photos. Their outfits were GORGEOUS, my team nailed the hair & makeup (per usual), and we had so much fun!

There are 2 things that I can promise you when you step in front of my camera, you will have fun and you will feel gorgeous. I know that both of those statements sound bold and very against what you THINK is going to happen ha! But I have spent years photographing people. I know how to make you comfortable right away, I know poses that will flatter you and I have a method for make your photos FEEL like you. And of top of all of that, I sure love to laugh!
When this team joined me in the studio, they needed individual and team shots. It was so much fun to see our vision come to life with the minimalist backdrops, gorgeous lighting, and stunning outfits.
As we wrapped up this headshot shoot, Lauren had one more outfit and I think these ended up being my favorite shots of the day! Let me tell you, I love a black blazer moment.
