Well, hello! I’m so glad you’re here. Let me do a quick little introduction to the Photos by Adena world.
I started my photography business 17 years ago when I was living in Henderson, NV. I had my daughter, Avree Rae (aka my little sunshine), on my hip and dove into learning all about my Canon Rebel. I had never entertained the thought of being a photographer when I grew up. But as I learned more about taking good photos and had people in front of my camera, I fell in love with the magic that is photography. My business morphed from shooting friends and family to meeting new people all over the Vegas valley to capture their moments and connections. I photographed families, couples, babies, weddings, seniors and then I dabbled in boudoir, where I found my calling.
Fast forward 7 years and our family made a huge move to Denver, CO. Avree was now in 2nd grade and I had a crazy fun preschooler, Jack, running around at home. I took the year to dream about what my business would look like in our new Colorado home. I just kept coming back to…

With a lot of dreaming, risk taking and a whole lot of hard work and support from my hubby…Blush & Tease became the exact experience that I wanted to offer women. The last 10 years has been a whirlwind of incredible clients, 3 studios, an insanely talented hair & makeup team…a total dream come true! (You can see all of my boudoir work at www.blushandtease.com)
My passion for photography started with Photos by Adena. It morphed into my passion to show women how beautiful they are with Blush & Tease. But now, I’m back and ready to put it all together. I love shooting portraits. I love to get to know my client, make them feel 100% comfortable (even with a camera in their face), and capture their most authentic self. I love when my clients realize that they can actually love photos of themselves, which is a little exercise in self love, which tends to grow self confidence. Its crazy to think a photoshoot can cause such a powerful ripple effect, but that’s why I do what I do.
