There are so many reasons that I’m thrilled to share this senior session on the blog. Sarah was my first senior to take to Lair o’ the Bear Park. She brought unique outfits, her killer smile and was ALL ABOUT getting in the water! If my clients want their hair and makeup done, I always recommend my super talented team because I know that you will look and feel your best for the whole shoot. Makeup by Heather B. and Hayley Styles knocked it out of the park!
Lair o’ the Bear has so many great backdrops for photos. Fields, fences, trees, a bridge, but the water had to be our favorite! We came prepared with water shoes and towels in case we wanted to adventure into the deep and the spot we found was absolutely breathtaking.
During our planning meeting, Sarah shared that she is a writer. I had the privilege of reading some of her poems before the shoot and it gave me even more insight to who she is. Having a fellow creative on the other side of the lens is always such a treat! I wanted to make sure we got so much more than senior portraits. She opened up and I really got to capture her personality which brings so much depth to these pictures.
Even as the sun dipped and we lost the best light, the photos didn’t stop. All the way back to the parking lot we created magic and they ended up being some of my favorites!
